‘Flipped Disc’ Evening raises £20,000 – On 27th April, two Friends- The World’s best-known Neurosurgeon Henry Marsh CBE and 7-time champion Jockey John Francome MBE hosted a very special evening, spinning a few of their best-loved records and their favourite yarns too.
Guests were treated to an evening of ‘Cabaret, Caviar, Canapes, Chardonnay, C’edgeree and Chocolate along with a charity auction which included a VIP experience at the RHS Chelsea Flower, a private lunch with Henry Marsh CBE , a morning on gallops and breakfast with John Francome, a private caviar tasting with Laura King and a private lunch with John Francome.
Henry’s brutally frank but humorous account of his childhood and later as a brain surgeon along with John’s sharp sense of humour ensured much laughter throughout the evening!
