Charity Golf Day at Woburn raises a massive £41,000! – On Friday 27th May, 26 teams took to Woburn Golf Club for the John King Brain Tumour Foundation Charity Golf Day. Taking place on the stunning Dukes Course, the day commenced with a Stableford competition with teams of four in a shotgun start.
The day concluded with a delicious three-course dinner from the acclaimed Woburn hospitality team, and an after-dinner speech by former SAS member and adventurer Neil Laughton. prize-giving and a live auction.
Our auction had an array of enticing items, including an exclusive behind-the-scenes private lunch for 4 people at The Ritz London in Michelin Star Executive Chef John Williams office, a signed Ian Poulter Tour Golf Bag, 7 night Stay for six guests at a boutique Villa in Egeo, Rhodes, Greece, Man Utd and Arsenal tickets and a 4-course meal cooked in your own home for 4 people by Dan Birn, Sous Chef, (previously at The Ritz) and Front of House, Simon Part.
Each item was personally donated so that the John King Brain Tumour Foundation received all of the proceeds.
