Other than challenging himself over the 1.9km swim, 90km bike & 21.1km run in the South of France, Oscar raising money and awareness for 3 incredible charities which are close to his heart given the 3 legs of a Half Ironman:
The Eve Appeal – The UK’s Gynaecological Cancer Research Charity raising awareness & funding research into five gynae-cancers: Womb, Ovarian, Cervical, Vulval and Vaginal.
The Royal Marsden – One of the world’s leading cancer hospitals which treats over 59,000 NHS and private patients each year.
Project 21 – Set up in March 2022 by The Sullivan family after Richard’s diagnosis of a brain tumour, to fundraise for the John King Brain Tumour Foundation which raises funds for St George’s Hospital to improve outcomes in neurosurgery.
