Annual Golf Day 2025 at Woburn Golf Club

The John King Brain Tumour Foundation held their annual golf day at Woburn Golf Club on Friday 31st May. The sun was shining, and the course was in perfect condition. We  welcomed over 100 golfers, the highest number since our golf days began, ready for a fantastic day of golf.

This year we are raising money for a new family kitchen and playroom in the Paediatrics Unit at St George’s Hospital. The current facilities are in desperate need for modernisation and the new rooms will create a welcoming safe space for critically ill children and their families to spend precious time together. The rooms will be purposefully designed for the children and their families and will support and aid recovery and rehabilitation.

The Golf Day started with an impromptu visit from Ian Poulter, Ryder Cup legend and one of John King’s golfing heroes. He took time out of his day to meet Laura, Harry and Holly and show his support for the John King Brain Tumour Foundation.

We raised just over an incredible £40,000 on the day and we just wanted to say a huge thank you for supporting our Golf Event and for your generosity.

The golf competition was strong, and prizes included nearest the pin, straightest drive and the longest drive.

Congratulations to all our winners. We look forward to welcoming you back next year for our 8th Golf Day to be held at Woburn on Friday 15th May 2026.
