Golf Day – Burhill Golf Club – 13th June 2018

The Burhill Estate, home to Burhill Golf Club, has an intriguing history.  We will be playing the Old Course, designed by legendary Scottish golf architect, Willy Park, and opened in 1905.  Regularly voted amongst Britain’s top 100 golf courses and famous for its fast and treacherous greens.

Afterwards, wine and dine in Burhill’s beautiful Georgian clubhouse, formerly home to the Duchess of Wellington, the Guinness family and Barnes Wallis’ design studio during WWII, where he created the famous ‘bouncing bomb’.

The Details:

  • Entrance fee £125 pp (£500 per 4 ball)

  • Provisional timings 12 noon Coffee and bacon sandwiches

  • 1pm Shotgun start

  • 7pm Gala Dinner with Guest Speaker Peter Alliss
